We Know What It Takes

The Streetboard World Series is brought to you by a dedicated crew of Streetboarders for Streetboarders.

Through various projects, heavy hitting riding & unwavering dedication have stuck with and helped carry Streetboarding to where it is today:

The scene that follows it own rules. Breathing new life into the streets & skateparks across the world.

Meet the SWS Team:

SERGI NICOLAS

YOU CAN CALL HIM BOSS

The team behind the Streetboard World Series is led by none other than 16-time world streetboard champion Sergi Nicholas. If anyone knows what’s crucial for riders in an event, it’s Sergi. He’s been there since he first burst onto the scene in 2000, placing fourth in his debut World Championships and going on to win multiple titles in various disciplines, including one on ice. With Sergi at the helm, the Streetboard World Series is in expert hands.

JAY NOWMAN

THEY CALL HIM CAPTAIN

Jay the captain Nowman having First blessed the Mic at the 1998 UK Streetboard Open, hosted almost all of the World Championships since 2004.

Riding the rhythm with his signature call signs. Hyping up the crowd bigging up every trick and roaming the course with the energy of an untamed lion.

Get ready to have yeah yeah, yeah ringing around your head for the days that follow.  There ain’t no party like a True Skool party.

DAVID ROSENBERG

DON'T CALL HIM DAVE

David is a more recent convert to the world of streetboarding, but with all the passion that this addictive sport brings out in riders. Helping to bring a fresh perspective to proceedings and taking care of the logistics that it takes to organise a truly global series.

Mette Ladegaard

Mette's experience in visual merchandising at SWS is key. To arrive at a polished final product that the world see's means making sense of the chaos that occurs behind the scenes of every live event.

Mette is fluent in translating chaos into beauty.
