Extreme Barcelona 2025

Streetboarding Shines in its Triumphant Return at Extreme Barcelona 2025

From July 5–7, Streetboarding roared back onto the big stage at Extreme Barcelona, and its long-awaited comeback was nothing short of spectacular. After several years away, the sport reminded everyone why it deserves the spotlight — delivering a show packed with energy, innovation, and unforgettable moments.

The crowd went wild as Gabi Muñoz nearly landed a groundbreaking backflip to 50-50 attempt, and David La Rotta stunned with a massive flip that had jaws dropping across the venue. In a thrilling finale, Barcelona’s own Sergi Nicolás claimed victory in front of his home crowd, with Mario Kurrle and Alex Villanueva securing second and third place, completing a podium to remember.

Beyond the contest, the Streetboarding booth gave spectators the chance to step on a board themselves and experience the unique thrill of the sport firsthand — sparking curiosity and excitement among newcomers and veterans alike.

This comeback wasn’t just a competition; it was a statement. Streetboarding is back, stronger and more creative than ever, showcasing the limitless possibilities the sport has to offer.

We can’t wait to see what’s next - and we’ll be ready for another round of Streetboarding action at Extreme Barcelona 2026.
